Dear friends and family,

I need your help to fight arthritis in my daughter’s honor!

Get in the spirit this holiday season! Tie jingle bells to your shoes, dress in a festive costume, and run or walk in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis with me in honor of Lindsay Schafer Pankey!

We are forming a team of friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members to participate in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk in an effort to fight arthritis. Not only will we have a great time at the event, but we'll raise money to help prevent, control and cure arthritis.

In its first year, Lindsay's Legacy exceeded everyone's fundraising expectations. We well surpassed our original goals and raised over $12,000 for arthritis research. Lindsay's Legacy placed first for fundraising in the Norfolk event, as well as first place in the state of Virginia. Further, Lindsay's Legacy was ranked third for fundraising nationally!

We've got high expectations again this year. Our fundraising goal is $10,000 and we'd like to have 150 runners/walkers on our team for the event.

I would love for you to join our team, Lindsay's Legacy, and join us December 5th, 2009 to either run or walk in Lindsay's honor. The event will happen at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, with registration starting at 11 am. Please consider joining the team and getting others to join as well.

If you can't join us, please consider making a secure, online contribution to help our team reach our goal. Together, we can make a difference for the 46 million Americans with arthritis.
